BORSTELMANN, Karoline
We had a loving Grandmother, Karoline. The times were not the best in 1944, but she managed to keep 6 chickens. We visited her often and could hardly wait for "Oma" to reach up to get the tin with her homemade Meringues. We had a sheltered life in Malente, in Schleswig Holstein and even now, all of us love Meringues and every bite reminds us of our Grannie.
