To Kelly's family I wish to express my deepest condolences. Kelly was one of the few positive rays of sunshine in a fractured working environment at the Post Office. He and I shared views on the shortcomings and negative feelings, but he was always able to positively rise above the politics and remind me of the advantages. I was able to draw from his energy in his own form of humorous expression. He will be greatly missed by me and his fellow co-workers.

To Caroline, Cy, Irene, and all of Kelly's family and close friends, my heartfelt condolences. What a terrible loss.

It's a long time since I last saw Kelly or any of you, but I remember his zestful, hilarious, outrageous presence with pleasure and gratitude. Kelly and I attended Spectrum Community School together, and he befriended me, a shy nerdy little guy, in the kindest and most welcoming way. One of my favorite memories of that time was the terrible, piercing little voice of the “The Fly” saying “Help me ... help me ...” from the back row of math class during a particularly gruelling exam. Of course it was Kelly. He never lost that irreverent, lively style for as long as I kept up with him, and reading some of the memories about him in a gamer's online forum makes me think he never did. I am sorry I won't be able to attend his memorial service, but I will think of you all, and Kelly, on the day.

Kindest regards from an old friend,
