Krista BARNABE Obituary

Krista May Barnabe (nee Randall) passed peacefully at RJH in Victoria at the age of 45 after a six month fight with cancer. She is deeply missed by her husband Mike, children Kole and Olivia, parents Bud and Sharon, and brother Greg (Tanya), along with extended family.
Born in Victoria, she attended Richmond Elementary, Lansdowne, and Lambrick Park High School. She was a devoted dog groomer and trainer, running her Krazy K9's Grooming business for 26 years, earning a loyal clientele.
Krista cherished motherhood and loved engaging in her children's activities, from school events and football games to Girl Guides. Known for her artistic talents, she often created special projects and birthday cakes for loved ones and was always ready to lend a hand to friends and neighbours.

Join us to celebrate Krista's life on November 30th, 1-4 p.m., at the Greek Community Centre, 4648 Elk Lake Dr, Victoria, BC. This casual, open-house event welcomes you to drop by and mingle with family and friends, and share a story about Krista. While she loved dogs, they cannot attend.
Donations can be made to Krista's Go Fund Me with funds supporting her children's future education.

Mike, Kole, Olivia and family,

I am so deeply saddened to read of Krista´s untimely passing. She is a great loss to our community.

She was an extraordinary woman and it was always such a pleasure to meet at our nearly 20 years of grooming appointments. I could always trust my fur babies with her which is a rarity.

The enthusiasm, professionalism and dedication to her business is unmatched.

Each appointment was filled with updates and new photos of activities, pets and family. Her love for Kole and Olivia overflowed.

There was always news of her many commitments, the kids schooling, and creative endeavours. I even learned a lot about her wonderful grandmother.

While I navigated my own cancer journey she was so supportive,
concerned and caring.

I will miss our visits, her expertise, pet tips, and personal beauty.

My sincere condolences to all members of her family!

Big love and gentle hugs; Heather, Ollie and Daisy.

We have been a client of Kristas for over 17 years... our relationship became a friendship.. every six weeks she came into my home and shared her pictures of her two beautiful children... and family I have never known a more dedicated and loving mother and wife... The world is truly less today without you here... We are blessed to have known you and will never be able to look at any dog and not think of you and smile.. even a little.. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family .. The McColmans
