My sincere condolences. I worked with Larry at Facilities for many years and remember having some wee battles over space for his client, Courts, and mine (Adult Probation). He was a true gentleman and he got my jokes! RIP Larry.

My sincerely and heartfelt condolences to the family and many friends and colleagues of Larry. I got to know Larry through his work with the VIECC and feel fortunate to have met him, work on a couple projects, and experience his positive attitude and bright light of a personality. He will be missed and the world is dimmer without his presence.

One day back about 1993 I planned a golf day with my son and one of his friends (Brian Cade) from school. Just before we were to go out Brian Cade asked if he could bring his father. Turned out to be a perfect day of golf as Larry and I discovered we had a lot in common and I happened to be looking for someone with his skills and background to manage the Court Services Facilities Portfolio. It was fortunate to meet Larry steal him away from his plans to relocate to the mainland. Larry proved to be the perfect fit to deal with judges, Sheriffs and courts staff in the planning and development of court facilities throughout the province. Jackie Dolores and are saddened your families loss of Larry we know he will be missed.

What a terrible loss - to his family, his friends and to the soccer referee community! He was the nicest referee, assessor and member of the referee association you could meet. What a gentleman! You'll be missed by all!

To Jackie and the Cade family. I am so sad to hear that Larry has passed away. I worked with Larry when we were both part of the Facilities Branch (CMSB) in Attorney General. He always had time for a chat and a chuckle. I will always remember him for his kindness and passion for soccer/family. RIP Larry, you will be missed.

Dear Jackie and all of Larry's family, I am very sorry to hear of Larry's passing. He and I worked together for about 8 years solving the many facilities issues in the various Courthouses around the Province for our Court of Appeal and Supreme Court. I was always very impressed with Larry's patience and understanding of the Courts' needs and his uncanny ability to find ways to make it happen in trying financial time. It was a pleasure to work with Larry.
I regret I will not be able to attend the reception in his honour in August as I will be in Ontario.

Every now and then I look at the last post page. As I get older, I am often sadden by the passing of an old friend, none more than today to see the passing of Larry Cade. Jackie, at this time, Bev and I have you in our thoughts and look fondly back to our times together in the early training days at Chilliwack and of course our time in Greenwood. The very best to you and your family. Treasure the great memories.

Memories of Larry in Ottawa and Victoria. Such great hosts are the Cades and my best fun memory of Larry is him insisting that I come into the hot tub with him for a glass of wine. Gone way too soon. Sending love and hugs and so sorry we are so far away. Gillian and Allan (and Graham)

I met Larry through his soccer activities and, oh boy, was he respected for those involved in this beautiful sport. He was the definition of a role model. He will be deeply missed.
