Please accept our deepest condolences. We met Larry about 5 years ago when he did an addition to our home. He was always very professional and made sure that everything was done perfectly. We feel very honoured to have had the opportunity to meet him; he was a very kind and honourable man.

My Deepest Condolences to all friends and Family, Larry Alexander was a complete class act, larger than life man, his generosity towards the Time, Money, Effort and Love he put into sports was 2nd to none,He was great boss, and even better person.Sponsored Everything, He was always the first to help out.Years ago we were going to a ball tournament, when I was a kid,Larry said I will help out, but I want to give you enough money so you can stop fundraising. and go bloody well practice and win the Tournament.I was lucky later on to work for Larry as he was one of my first boss's.He was Great,Larry and Diane were always taking Family to sporting events, they were a couple that I hoped one day I could Copy,Diane knows more about sports than anybody I ever met, lol,They are truly the reason that I sponsored so many Teams,Derbys to pay it Forward,Like Them,What a man, what a Legacy.Hugs to Diane and entire Family, we lost a Sooke Monarch..XO

Larry was a sooke sports philanthropist . Many know his continued support of fastball in sooke since the 70's. He also was a strong supporter of the emcs sr boys basketball program. For years Larry paid me personally to coach the sr boys program. He had a heart of gold, and a Sence of humour that I understood. While hundreds of men learnt their trade from him, I will always be in debt to Larry on how he taught me to speak and treat people in a work environment. You sir , were a man of style and humour. I will share the stories you shared with me till the end lar! Thank you for everything .

We have many warm memories of Larry, he gave so much of himself to the community. He'll be remembered for his contribution to sports, his infectious smile and for his support to kids looking for their first jobs. Diane and family, take comfort in the legacy Larry has left here on earth..

Larry was an extraordinary man with a huge heart. His support of fastball and the JdF Builders Jr Club was instrumental in providing opportunities to a group of young men to enjoy the game and grow together. He was the Duke of Sooke to many of us and I will always have great memories of playing for his team. Thank you Larry.
My sympathies to your family. RIP
