May it comfort you to know others are thinking of you at this difficult time. I knew Laurie for many years through her Union involvement and considered her a great friend who taught me so much.

My neighbour and my friend. You taught me strength and motivation when it came to overcoming the impossible. Your guidance and your knowledge will not be forgotten. Your courage is admirable and I will miss the falling seeds from the birds, but not as much as I will miss you.

I will always remember Laurie as she has been my inspiration to continue to help people overcome things such as computers and make sure that everyone can access what they need to electronically. If I felt I was having a bad day, I would always get myself back on track when assisting Laurie, she had much more strength than most humans.
I will never forget my fun times with Laurie and our deep conversations while trying to fix her computer.

My thoughts are with you and your family.

My condolences to Laurie's family and friends. It was an honour to work with Laurie and a privilege to know her as a friend. Laurie could always be counted on for support and guidance, which I asked for often.

My thoughts go out to all of Laurie's family and friends at this very difficult time. I had the pleasure of working with Laurie, and she was always quick to share her vast knowledge, and her remarkable sense of humour. She will be deeply missed.
