Since leaving the SHOAL Centre in Sidney BC we have kept up with each other via crazy, funny emails! I have such fond memories of you and your beloved Anna and was saddened to hear of your passing. Will never forget the wonderful talks we used to enjoy and the talk you gave of your background and your book. Your laughter, good will to others, your love and devotion to Anna and precious Jenny, has left an indelible imprint on me that I will always cherish. Thanks for the wonderful memories and thank you for your special friendship. Forever in my heart.

Bryan and I have only just seen this obituary. I had just tried to send an email to him about his book now selling at a high price. Anna and Len were good friends from 1995 in Qualicum and later in Victoria. It was wonderful to know them. Bryan and Betty Stafford-Smith

I will always remember your dad and mom. Len was the first partner I had playing bridge on the Internet. Then I met Paul and Sue and played with him too. We also visited Victoria and had special times with Anna and Len. Len called me on my birthday, the end of August and I tried to get him on his birthday, with no luck. Have been trying to call ever since. Just found out the sad news of his death. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all....they were beautiful people and we loved you all. I have always felt a bond with their daughter, Marilyn since we had the same name and I have communicated with her in the past. Love to you all. Marilyn and Clyde Rathmann. [email protected]

We remember our special times with Len and Jenny at Dominion Brook Park in North Saanich. We also enjoyed a lovely afternoon with Len and sweet Anna at their home. Len was a special, wonderful man whom we had the great honor of knowing and loving. Len, Anna and Jenny will always be in our thoughts. May you find solace in your memories

Such a fine gentleman! I am still living in the house that Len and Anna so lovingly had built. Many of their plants still thrive especially Len's beloved Rhododendron 'Horizon Monarch'. Be at peace my friend with Anna in your new and beautiful garden.
