We were shocked and saddened to read of your loss. We just saw you at Betty's 90 th birthday party and Lloyd looked wonderful. It seems impossible to us but, sadly, we know it is all too real. Please accept our sincere condolences at this difficult time.

My deepest sympathy to you, Mrs. Bolli, and your entire family. I'll never forget all of the wonderful times that my parents (Jack and Margaret Taylor) and us 4 kids shared with you when we were growing up. The BBQ's, swimming in the pool, watching your sons dive off the roof into the pool (amazing for me as a young girl), my sleep overs with daughter Deb, when we were so young, not to mention our events at the Colonial Inn when Deborah and I were kids. I think the two of us made some of the best ice cream sundaes that mankind could have ever invented!!!

It was a pleasure to have known Mr. Bolli. He, and you, were always so kind, wonderful and supportive to the Taylor family. He'll be missed by many.

I wish you and your family strength and the knowledge that you have so much love extended to you from so many, during this very difficult time.

Love,
Linda Taylor

I have know Lloyd and his wonderful family for almost 50 years. My father, Jack Taylor, and my mother Margaret Taylor both had the pleasure of working with Lloyd and Barbara at the Colonial Inn. (now James Bay Inn) Lloyd and Barbara never treated my parents as mere employees, but rather as members of an extended family.

As a young child I, and my 3 siblings, relished and anticipated the thought of joining the Bolli's for a fun filled afternoon soaking up the sun, swimming in their pool, and a great barbecue afterward.

Lloyd and Barbara were always the most genial hosts. It seemed to me at that young age that their outlook on life was "the more the merrier". And there was always a tremendous turnout for the (extended) family functions. That was a unique experience for all of us. None of my parents other friends put up with the antics of us little brats! Social affairs at that time were limited to the adults. But not so at the Bolli's!

Sadly though, we all drifted apart over the years, as happens with most people. Yet I recall the great joy that my mother experienced on her 75th and 80th birthday celebrations when Lloyd and Barbara attended. The pleasure and surprise on Mom's face made the evening for all of us.

I didn't know or recall until today that Lloyd was in the Air force,or that he did TWO tours in WW2! 5o% fatality rate on one tour was the average, and Lloyd did two! That goes to show you what an honorable and self sacrificing man he was.

Lloyd has touched myself, my parents, and my siblings with his kindness, his grace and his caring manner. He will be sorely missed.

Lloyd, I salute you Sir!
