Lloyd PACK Obituary

It is with the most profound sadness that we announce the passing of Lloyd Pack on March 3rd, 2026, gone too soon at the young age of 64.

Survived and deeply missed by his wife of almost 20 years, Cheryl; children, Alan and Barbara; brother, Dwain (Joanie); stepson, Joe (Kiersten); his half-sister, Heather (Craig), and step-siblings; many nieces and nephews; aunts and uncles; a large extended family, including Donna (Daryl); and maybe most dearly, his grandsons Maxwell and Oliver, who by his own words "absolutely owned his ass".

Predeceased by his loving parents, Daniel and Elaine, and his younger brother Trevor, all of whom he never stopped missing.

Lloyd was a beloved husband, father, grandpa, and brother. He was an uncle, a friend, and a colleague. Lloyd was a golfing-buddy, a straight-shooter, someone you could always count on - and so much more, to so many others.

Born in Duncan, BC, Lloyd attended SJ Willis and Victoria High School, followed by Royal Roads University where he received his BCOM in 2007. Continuing to set down roots in Victoria, he welcomed his two children, both of whom he passed many of his best attributes to.

Professionally, Lloyd was a member of the BC Public Service, followed by his tenure at Island Health. Diagnosed with Cerebral Amyloid Angiopathy during the pandemic, he made prominent lifestyle changes, ensuring that he lived and loved to the fullest.

A life-long Boston Bruins fan and a member of his local Legion, he also enjoyed golf, snow skiing, and swimming. Lloyd loved surrounding himself with family and friends - whether that was at the trailer, hanging out, or hosting Sunday dinner. He cooked a mean steak and made the most delicious scalloped potatoes ever tasted. And he adored being a grandpa.

A remembrance celebration will be held at the Four Points by Sheraton Langford, on April 18th, 1-4pm. Memorial donations may be made to the Victoria Brain Injury Society.

Additional and heartfelt thanks to the VGH staff, Dr. Alice Cojocaru, his extended family at the Kiwanis Pavilion, and all of the friends who supported Lloyd and our family during this time.

Lloyd it´s been so long since we last spoke. You are the best partner, through all those afternoon and night shifts and all the times you took care of me. Whenever the old day are part of the conversation I make sure your name begins all my sentences. Safe travels my friend..

Dearest Cheryl & Family,
So saddened to hear this news this morning. Lloyd fought long and hard with his battle and may he be at peace now. When we lose someone we love, we must learn not to live without them, but to live with the love they left behind. My condolences.....hugs Barb Clements
