Lorena MAGSALIN Obituary

Lorena passed away peacefully after medical complications from a heart surgery she had received a few months previous.

Loved by many and survived by her former husband and good friend, Ronny Quay, son Edgar (Krista), daughter Charity (Oliver), and Andrew; as well as her sister Raquel, brother Honesto, sister-in-law Mollie, and three much-loved grandchildren Charlie, Sophia, and Thomas.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Resthaven Seventh-Day Adventist Church (9300 Willingdon Road, Sidney, BC) on December 16th, 2017 at 3:30pm.

In lieu of flowers and gifts the family asks that a donation be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.

I was surprised to see that Lorena has passed away. I am so sorry and offer my sincere condolences to the Quay and Magsalin families on their loss of Lorena. I was at her wedding to Ron those many years ago. I always admired her poise and beautiful smile; she was a very nice, lovely lady participating in church music and she will be missed. May the Lord be with you all and comfort you as you mourn her loss.
