Mabel MITCHELL Obituary
MITCHELL, Mabel Lois June 16th, 1922 - April 10th, 2013 Mabel died peacefully at Island View Place Care Home on April 10th 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Lionel Mitchell, her brother Bill Driver and sister June Driver. Mabel leaves behind her sister Lucille McDonald, as well as many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews. Mabel retired from the University of Victoria and was a long time member of the Deep Cove Hand Weavers and Spinners Guild. At Mabel's request there will be no service. Donations can be made to a charity of your choice. Many thanks to the staff at Island View Place Care Home for their loving care of Mabel during the last few weeks.

We'll miss Mabel. She was a wonderful weaver and person who contributed willingly and cheerfully to both the Victoria and Deep Cove Guilds. She was very kind to me when I was a new weaver and her help was much appreciated. My good wishes to her family.
