ANTONIAZZI, Maddalena

Born in Italy, Maddalena (Lena) lived in Libya before moving to Oak Bay with Harry and Agnes Keith as their housekeeper for many decades. Agnes Keith was a well-known writer whose book, Three Came Home, was made into a 1950 movie starring Claudette Colbert. As a result of the movie being so well received, Lena met many famous Hollywood people who visited the Keiths at their home. Lena was an invaluable member of the Keith household and of the community. She loved her home and reluctantly moved to a long-term care facility after being diagnosed with dementia.
A graveside service will take place on Wednesday, March 29th, 2023 at 11:00 am at Royal Oak Burial Park.
