Magda Pellizzon Obituary
It is with sadness that the family of Magda Marie Pellizzon (nee Hiemcke) announces her passing on May 28, 2022 at Victoria General Hospital. Magda was born in Amsterdam, Holland on April 19, 1933 and graduated from Wilhelmina Gasthuis te Amsterdam with a Diploma in Nursing in 1956.
She imigrated to Canada in 1957, and after landing in Vancouver soon met Gianfranco (Frank) Pellizzon, who, would prove to be the love of her life and the father of their four children; Jackie, Greg, Susan and Ed. The following ten years Magda (Maggie) dedicated herself to raising their children and then returned to school to upgrade her nursing education. She then worked at the Gorge Road Hospital for more than 30 years. Maggie is pre-deceased by her daughter Susan and survived by her husband Frank and their children, Jackie, Greg, Ed and their families.

I am so sorry to hear of Maggie's passing. Condolences to Frank & family. I often saw Maggie at the Dutch Bakery & always with a big smile.
