Firstly, my sincere condolences to your family. I have just identified a very fine 8x10 photo of Sleepy and Swede and the Tumbleweeds, the band Mr. Wald toured with in the 1930's. A little more searching has sadly brought me to Mr. Wald's obituary. The photo was in our grandma's old trunk. She must have been a fan. Please contact me if you are interested. I would be very happy to send this momento to you for your family archives. [email protected]

Sorry to hear of Marc's passing our condolences to the family.

As a young girl growing up in Wilkie, Sask. we loved to watch the Tommy Hunter Show. I loved the accordian music and still do to this day.

We knew the Wald family very well.
Always knew that Marc was the brother of Nels.

Rest in Peace Marc ,

Although my association with Marc is fairly recent, (3 years), I feel very fortunate to have met him both as a warm, friendly person and to have shared some musical moments with him. My heart goes out to his friends and family
