Billie was a beloved friend and golfing partner of our mother´s, Anne Stainforth. Billie was the only one of her friends we invited to Anne´s 100th birthday, she meant so much.
We´ll miss Billie´s vitality and laughter. Piers and Jill

"Miss Niblock" was on the staff at McNally H.S. in Edmonton when I attended there '64-'66. A well liked P.E. teacher I re-connected with her in Victoria when I moved there. A life well lived.

Billie, we have missed you on our daily walks around Beckwith Park and we always will. We shall look for the Heron for you and maybe I shall even cheer for the Oilers for you - as long as they are not playing the Canucks. We will miss the philosophical chats we had and I know the kids walking to school will miss having you ask them `what are you going to learn today?´ You were an inspiration to us all and I hope we can all live as long and as well as you did. Sleep well dear friend until we meet again.b

My condolences to your "Sis" and family whom she spoke of almost every day. Bless you all

Although we never knew Marjorie, we certainly knew Billie. We were two of her dog walking buddies. Almost daily, we would meet her on her route around Beckwith Park, and sometimes into the residential area.
We tried our best to resolve the world's problems or at least complain about them. Billie was opinionated, but you always knew where she stood. When she wasn't sharing her opinions, we would talk about dogs, golfing (I had no interest), gardening, and teaching (I was one too).
Rain or shine, we were all out there, exercising our dogs, ourselves and our mouths.
Even though Lynne and myself moved from the area last year, we were kept informed of Billie's health issues and were not surprised, but saddened by her recent passing.
We will always remember this friendly, strong and stoic lady from the neighborhood. R.I.P. "Billie"
