Tina (Marlene) was my best friend. We met in 1965; our frienship endured for the next 56 years. The last time we met we talked about how we would celebrate our 70th birthdays in 2022. When she left us she took along some of my fondest memories. We shared many occasions and moments both happy and sad. Tina took with her my deepest desires, my darkest secrets and most of all my infinite love. I haven't yet figured out how to survive a life that won't include her from this time on. Godspeed my dear friend.

Marlene meant so many things to so many people as evidenced by the many tributes that have been posted. When I read through the tributes I am honoured to have been included in her circle of friends.
We will miss and, never forget, the laughter and joy she brought into our lives. Our condolences to Alfe and family, Wayne and Judy Peters

I truly miss my youngest sister Marlene (Tina). She was such a vibrant woman who would light up a room when she entered. Our visits and telephone conversations were endless and I miss them. Tina was our organizer of events and always had a game ready for us and was a super hostess. She loved to travel and would tell us of all her adventures and we all felt that we had been there with her. Her passing will leave a deep void within the family and will sorely be missed. I love you Tina, your big sister Lynne.

Our mom Evelyn Kreller was a sister to Marlene's dad Uncle Elmer. We lived in Vermilion just a short distance from Mannville. We didn't visit much as it was busy times for our parents but Marlene would come and visit us. She was a wonderful person and it is unfortunate we lost contact as we have with so many of the Kreller family. It is hard to lose a beloved one and especially so when it is so unexpected. In reading these tributes Marlene lived a full life and was well loved by all. That is what life is all about and what we all hope for. Our thoughts are with her family and friends. She left big shoes to fill.

People come and go but once in a while you meet someone who is supposed to be in your life, and your heart goes “Oh, there you are, I’ve been looking for you.” And you’ve found a member of your tribe. Marlene.
You will be so very missed!

Marlene was laughter, kindness, and brightness. Between her cooking and party planning skills she was definitely the hostess with the mostess! Her love for Alfe and her family was always evident when she spoke. We have such wonderful memories of our time spent with her and Alfe in Yuma. She was well loved here and will be missed by this community and those of us left in her gang of girlfriends. I will see you on the other side my friend.

Marlene is my step mom. But more importantly she was my fathers best friend and wife. Thank you Marlene for making my father happy for all the years you had together. You both truly had the marriage everyone dreams of and for all the golf we did in Palm Springs and Arizona.

Marlene (Tina) was, and will continue to be, my wonderful younger sister who I loved and made many memories with. She and I had many great conversations and didn't always agree on some issues. However, she was always gracious, listened, and was willing to see both sides. Mike and I will miss her dearly..........she will always be in our hearts.

Marlene was a jewel. Always welcoming & a treasured friend. We met Marlene & Alfie mid 90’s. Slow-pitch. That’s what did it. Many , many ball games. Utah, Nevada, Arizona, Washington State, B.C., etc. Too many to count. Many, social get togethers. Always nice to be in her company! She will be missed! Jackie is perfectly right. A beautiful & fun lady.
Alfie, we are thinking of you.

I was so very very sad when I heard Marlene passed away. Such a beautiful & fun lady. I remember in Utah at "The Ranch" she talked me into jumping into the pool with her with all our clothes on to splash everyone!!! We were laughing like little kids!! I enjoyed playing slo pitch with her (& you too Alfe)..She was a great player.. Til we meet again my friend..Love to you all Alfe.

I always wonder why such good people are taken away from us. Marlene was a true and honest friend. We met her and Alfe in the Esquimalt Tennis Club in the ‘80s and had so much fun. Marlene had the best powerful backhand that everyone was afraid of. A wonderful tennis player and we won many ladies doubles tennis tournaments together. We had a lot of lovely travel excursions together and especially loved cruises. Marlene will be missed so much and I will cherish our friendship we had all through the years.

Marlene was a good friend. I worked with for a few years. She always asked about my family. She was a great person to talk to about things. She always looked so pretty. She always had great stories, jokes, and an amazing laugh. After she retired my wife (deceased) and I would often bump into her shopping. She always came over and warmly said hello and would talk about her family (mostly Jeff) and ask about mine. You truly touched my life
