Marlene McShannon Obituary

MCSHANNON, Marlene Beatrice (nee Blandy) January 20, 1943 March 4, 2009 Survived by her loving family: husband Bruce, son Geof, daughter Laura-Lyn and grand dog Princess. Known as "Auntie" to the children that she worked with she was involved in foster care and daycare for many years. Her love and kindness will be remembered by many. A member of the Anglican church, and Christian faith, she was involved with the ACW for many years. Her faith was very important to her and through it she understood the importance of helping any in need. Through her own interests and those of her family she was also involved in many community groups like Esquimalt Arts and Crafts Society. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Our Place Society or a charity of your choice. Her life will be celebrated in a regular Sunday morning service, March 22nd, 2009 at 9:15am at All Saints View Royal (Anglican), 287 Pallisier Ave. 531139
