Marlene SARICH Obituary

Loving wife of predeceased husband John. Mother to Michael, Eva-Marie and Mark (Marianne). Baba of Jean, Adam, Carmen, Peter and Virginia. Sister of Larry(Shirley). Aunty to many nieces and nephews. Daughter of predeceased parents Clarence and Fernie.

A long time resident of Terrace, BC, Marlene was a dynamic, creative woman who touched the lives of many. The hospitality of their home on Lakelse Lake is one of the fondest memories for those who knew her. A faithful Catholic who served in the Catholic Charismatic Renewal movement she brought encouragement to many with her outgoing personality. An alumni of St Anne's Academy in Victoria it was fitting that her last residence was Mount St Mary's a former hospital of the Sisters. Marlene died surrounded by the family she loved on April 29th, 2018 at the Royal Jubilee hospital in Victoria BC.

A Catholic funeral mass will take place on Tuesday, May 8th at 11:00 am, at St Joseph the Worker Parish, 753 Burnside Rd. W Victoria BC, reception to follow in the parish hall. All are welcome.

My short connection with Marlene was as a representative from Nelson Diocese on the BC Service Committee for Charismatic Renewal. She served well and will be remembered kindly by all those with whom she worked. Rest in peace Marlene.
