Martha BOSMA Obituary
Born in Lutjegast, Nederland December 11, 1932 third in line of 10 children born to Wiebe and Elsiena Boer. The family immigrated to Canada April 1951 on the Volendam through Pier 21, then to Pitt meadows, then on to Port Alberni where she met the love of her life Albert Bosma. They moved to Victoria where they raised their 4 children Helen (John) Van Bergeyk, Fred & Penny Bosma, Bill & Sandra Bosma & Laurence Bosma. She was predeceased By Albert in 2006; also by her sisters Bouwina, Ellie, brothers Harry and Wim, grandson Derick Paul Bosma. She was a very active member of Victoria First Christian Reformed church, volunteered for Bethesda and 30 yrs at Bibles for Mission Thrift store.
Will Be missed by her remaining siblings, her children, 19 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Celebration of Life to be held at Christ Community Church, 3897 Holland Ave. Victoria, BC January 20, 2024 at 1 PM.

I attended TOPS with Martha for several years, and she was a delight to know and a good friend during those years, and always a good word when meeting while shopping or whatever. Always remembered fondly. She will be missed by all.
