Mary Anne Fillipone

FILLIPONE, Mary Anne 1960 - 2014 Mary Anne went peacefully to be with our Lord on the morning of December 12. Wife of Jeff, mother of Cecilia and Gianina Fillipone, and sister of Douglas, Harry and David Bloodgood, she touched the lives and hearts of many in her workplace, at church, and in her community. She was a modest, deeply caring woman of great faith who loved people and showed a natural compassion for those in need. She was fortunate to have a group of loving friends who surrounded her and lifted her up over the past two years of her illness. These women and men continue to be a source of great strength for our family. We wish to thank Fr. John Laszczyk, Dr. Haydeh Erfanifar, Dr. Helen Anderson (BC Cancer Agency), Victoria Hospice nursing staff and physicians whose compassionate care is truly phenomenal, and the many friends who came to be with and pray for Mary Anne during the most difficult days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on December 16th at St. Andrew's Roman Catholic Cathedral. All are invited to attend. Donations to Victoria Hospice or BC Cancer Foundation would be appreciated.
