Mary Muloin Obituary
MULOIN, Doreen
In Loving Memory
With profound sadness, we mark the passing of our cherished mother, Doreen, born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, who passed away on the 15th of September 2025 in Sidney, BC, at the age of 89. She left behind a legacy of kindness, strength, and unwavering love.
Doreen was a guiding force for her family and friends. Known for her quick wit, she found happiness in life's simple joys, especially those shared with family. She lived a full life as a devoted wife and mother, enjoyed returning to work once her children were older, and is known for her immaculate house, playing bridge, singing, and bowling. In her later years, Doreen loved going on cruises with her husband, Moe. Doreen led by example-her dedication, kindness, and resilience shaped those around her. She comforted others with her wisdom, inspired ambition through her support, and brightened challenging times with her enduring humour.
Doreen is predeceased by her son, Denis Muloin, and her sister, Janice Mott. She is survived by those who loved her deeply - her husband, Maurice Muloin; daughters, Sue Muloin and Lianne Muloin; daughter-in-law, Shelley Homewood; grandchildren, Stephanie Ballard, Robert Muloin, Erinn Belleau, Kevin Muloin, Chris Benoit, David Benoit; great-grandchildren, Ryan Dion, Quinn Muloin, Royce Muloin, Rylan Muloin, Sutton Muloin, Noah Belleau, Emersyn Belleau; as well as five nieces and three nephews.
As we say goodbye, we remember her not only for what she did but for who she was: a loving mother, a loyal friend, and a remarkable soul whose impact will endure for generations. Her legacy lives on in the stories we share, the traditions we uphold, and the love she instilled in our hearts.
Doreen will be laid to rest at First Memorial Funeral Services & Garden of Memories, Royal Oak. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Doreen's name to the Alzheimer's Association.
She will be missed more than words can express, cherished forever, and always remembered.
