SZARKA, Mary Livia (Lang)
Mary passed away on Tuesday, June 27th, 2023 at Royal Jubilee Hospital.
She is predeceased by her husband Peter, mother Livia, and father Andrew. Mary is survived by her son Peter (Sheila), daughter Susanna (Wesley), granddaughters Mikhayla, Annika and Julia.
Mary immigrated to Canada from Hungary at the age of 17 during the 1956 revolution. She worked along side her husband Peter as a dental assistant for many years. She was a wonderful, kind and gentle soul who embraced life and was an active member of the Hungarian Society's local chapter.
She will be deeply missed by her family friends and all who knew her.

I knew Mary for over ten years. She was my strength training client. We shared a fondness for many different TV shows and movies. She aways looked forward to seeing both of my dogs. I always welcomed her visits.

Sending our sincere sympathies to Mary's family. My husband Bob (A&P Dental Lab) did work for Peter for many years. We were also patients of Peters. I fondly remember how kind Mary was to us and she would often talk about her family. In recent years we would 'bump' into Mary occasionally. Such a dear person. Our caring thoughts to all.
