Her life was filled with many interests that included gardening, piano, bowling, travel and the card club. She taught piano and volunteered this talent, at Mt. Tolmie Hospital, for 40 years. Family came first for mum. She had a quiet strength, which she showed through her generous nature, was a loyal friend, and a good listener. The service is to follow on Wednesday, August 5th, 2015 at 12 o'clock p.m., at St. Aidan's United Church. What a warm, sweet, loving mother, grandmother and sister. She always made me feel comfortable at family get togethers, and I loved chatting up a storm with her!
She would also check in on my own grandma at Mt. Tolmie hospital when she volunteered....I always appreciated her kindness for that! Thanks again Gran.
It was so apparent how truly adored she was by her family...a rare gem, to be cherished.
My deepest condolences to all her family and friends at this sad time.
It was an honour to know such an amazing lady, I will miss her and remember her with love.
