Max and Jacqueline were on a UVic tour to Turkey '95. For Lillian Wilson and me, the two of them made the trip most enjoyable and memorable.
A delightful, caring and fun couple.
We still always joke about Max handing us a small bag of laundry we'd offered to do for them and with those beautiful, twinkling eyes said they would stay behind and relax that day and he would enjoy visions of Jacqueline's and our lingerie dancing with his in the foreign washing machine. Fondly remembered as a gentle, gentleman!

Dear Jacquie and Family,
I was terribly saddened to learn of Max's death. It's a great loss and I send my deepest condolences. Max and I enjoyed our communications. He was a passionate man, full of good humour and consideration, and I shall miss him. Please do let me know when the memorial will be, as I would like to participate.
May his memory always be for a blessing, and may you all find your grief lightened by knowing he was loved.
Sincerely,
Isa Milman
