Medorina Wittman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our precious mother, Medorina Wittman, with family at her side at Victoria General Hospital. Born in Boulton, MB, Medorina spent most of her early years farming with husband, Joe, in Rockglen, SK, then moved to Langford, BC in 1974 where she and Joe enjoyed their retirement years. Medorina continued to live on her own in Langford after Dad's passing.
Medorina was predeceased by husband, Joseph in 2008, parents, John and Mabel Gorda, siblings, Mary, Vera, Elaine, Ted, George, Kay, Therese and Elsie. She is survived by her children, Reg (Clare, deceased), Darryle, Pamela (Joe), siblings Florence (George, deceased), Irene (George) and Pete (Ruth), ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and numerous other relatives and friends.
Mom always had a smile and an ear for everyone she encountered. Medorina's family was the nucleus of her life and she shared with them many stories from her years in the air force to farming in Saskatchewan and her retirement years. At age of 91, Mom continued to shop almost daily, take long walks, and prepare gourmet meals for family and friends.
Mom will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
