Michael Carver Obituary
March 27, 1962 - December 11, 2023
A Celebration of Life will be held for Michael at Jakes on the Lake restaurant on South Shore Road in Lake Cowichan on Saturday, June 22 from 1 to 3 pm.
Michael served his country in the military for 25 years, commuting to bases in Victoria and Nanaimo while living in Lake Cowichan. At home he loved hanging out with his family and friends, cooking, camping and fishing on the lake.
Michael is survived by his parents, Carole (Alex) Carver and Alan (Noreen) Carver and his siblings, Alanda (John), Meagan (Blair) and Clayton (Pam). He was a loving Dad to Rya, Tom and Jocelyn and a devoted grandfather to Memphis. Mike will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Carole, Alan and Noreen and family. I was saddened to learn of the passing of your son, Michael. Although I didn't know him, I remember the wonderful things Aunty Helen and Uncle Leslie told me about him, Alanda, Meagan and Clayton, when I went to visit them.
Precious memories will be with you always.

Worked with Mike for many years in Colwood 66, his hearty laugh when he was told a good joke is missed around the Bldg.
A 5 field regiment soldier

A fellow soldier from his time remembers, I only knew him in passing when our regimental encounters. He always had smile and a friendly personality. I miss him too.
