I met Mike when I worked for BC Ferries. I liked him from the first I met him. He had an easy way and was liked by many who knew him. I hadn't seen Mile for some time but always thought of him and considered him a friend. I would like to extend my condolences to his family. Rest in Peace Mike.

Over the past 38 years I've thanked Michael for doing many odd jobs for my parents i.e. house painting, fencing + yard work. It meant a lot to me (as I live in Vanc.) that he was dependable + did a great job at the various ones that he did for them. Many thanks also to Michael for doing gardening + yard work, housekeeping, some small home repairs + home maintenance for my Mom, (Mrs. D. Pearce), since my Father's passing in 2008. We'll miss his smiles + jokes. Condolences to his family.

I knew worked and partied with Mike many years ago. I always liked Mike and thought of him many times over the years since we last spoke. Good bye Mike, you're free and at peace now.

My heart goes out to you all. Michael always had a way to make me smile. Whether telling stories in the bar about babysitting me when I was little or burning up the dance floor with his swing and jive moves, he was always a pleasure to be around. You will be missed Mike.
