Michael Joslin Obituary

It's with great sadness that we honour the life of our beloved father and husband. A devoted nurse for over 30 years, he gave care with endless compassion and happiness. He found peace camping with his family in the San Juan Islands and joy riding his bike, watching planes, and exploring trains. His kindness, selflessness, and quiet strength touched all who knew him. He loved deeply and never asked for anything in return. A true caregiver in every sense, at work and at home. He leaves behind his wife Danielle, son Christopher, daughter-in-law Ellen, and granddaughter Izabella. We will miss his warmth, his sense of humour, and his infectious smile. Ride on Dad, your spirit lives on in all of us.

Danielle and family,
I also worked in the Burn Unit with Mike in the late 1980's. Mike was one of the very best. Quietly humorous, dedicated and caring, non-judgemental with everyone, Mike epitomized the true meaning of what a nurse should be. I am so sorry for your loss.

I first met Mike when we started together in the Burn Unit at the Jubilee Hospital.
He was a wonderful nurse compassionate, understanding, gentle and a great sense of humour. Mike had a calm about him that made all patients feel comfortable and safe. Danielle and family I am so sorry for your loss. He will be missed by all who knew him.
