SKILLINGS, Michael Hugh McTavish
June 9, 1968 - June 21, 2023
Mike (dear son, brother, father, friend) passed away at the age of 55, in Victoria, BC surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Vancouver, BC to Beth and Hugh, Mike was a delightful whirlwind and perfect joy. Mike lived with a severe brain injury, acquired at age five, and showed great courage, strength and determination, living and loving outside the lines, on his own terms. Mike was a gentle man with a big heart, a cheeky sense of humour, and a twinkle in his eye. Mike's kindness and calmness touched the lives of those who knew him.
A celebration of life was held June 28, 2023. Family and friends are grateful to have been together, and send love and healing to those who could not be with us in person.
