DOHM, Mike
July 7, 1944 - March 21, 2024
It is with sadness that we announce Mike's passing. Mike was born at Halifax N.S. to Isobel and William Dohm. Mike died peacefully at Victoria Hospice. Mike was a thoughtful and caring person who gave generously of his time and skills. He lived his life with a quiet devotion to the Catholic Faith. Mike joined to RCN in 1963 and served through 1994, retiring as a Major; RCAF Finance Officer. Subsequently, he enjoyed working at the Ministry of Forests (1994 - 2003). Short wave radio was a treasured hobby throughout his adult life.
Mike is survived by his wife Denyse and daughter Song Fei; daughter Michelle Dohm Sullivan (Patrick) and granddaughter Maya; daughter Karen (Joseph) and grandson Simon; and by his stepchildren, Karen, Christine, Lynda, Michael and their families.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Mike on Sunday, July 28, 2024 at 2:00 pm at McCall Gardens, Sequoia Centre, 4665 Falaise Drive.
