Upon his discharge from the navy, Nick purchased a commercial fishing boat, his beloved Springtime V", and fished the waters off our coast until he retired in 1978. In his retirement Nick developed a passion for golf and travel. He and Ella thoroughly enjoyed many trips through Canada, the U.S and Mexico in their trusty motor home. An expert handyman, he was always repairing and building things in his workshop. There wasn't much that Nick couldn't fix, but when he acquired a computer at age 80, hit any key to continue" took on a whole new meaning!
