Nikki MAR Obituary
MAR - Nikki (nee Bole) November 23, 1970 - February 1, 2004 "REMEMBER ME WITH A SMILE FOR THAT IS HOW I WILL REMEMBER YOU" With her husband and family by her side, our beloved Nikki passed away peacefully to be with the angels after a lengthy battle with cancer that was fought with great dignity and courage. Nikki brought such love and joy to her families and taught us all so much. She is our angel and our inspiration. Nikki loved her life with Chris, her family, and, was a devoted aunt to her nephew and nieces (Jeff, Carlee, Brooklyn). They were her "sunshines" and held a special place in her heart. Her athletic passion was a joy for volleyball where she established many great friendships. To know Nikki was to love her. She will be remembered and greatly missed by her husband and soul mate, Chris, her parents (Bob, Karen), her brother and family (Syd, Colleen, Jeff, Carlee, Brooklyn), her special Auntie Kim and Uncle Pat, Grandma J, Grandma B,her other aunts, uncles and cousins, her Father-in-law, Albert, Mother-in-law, Tyna, Brother-in-law, Don, Sister-in-law, Elaine, Grandfather Stanley and Grandmother Lisa Woo, Uncle Bob and Auntie Elsie Mar, Uncle Tommy and Auntie Mildred Mar and their entire extended family, as well as her many friends and associates. Her Grandpa J and Grandpa B and a brother, Todd, predeceased Nikki. The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the doctors, nurses and caregivers and theVictoria Hospice. Special thanks to Dr. Innes, Dr. Jim Chan, Dr. McMurtrie, Dr. Black and Dr. Jones for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, a donation would be appreciated to the Victoria Hospice Society or the BC Cancer Foundation Vancouver Island. A celebration of life will be held Cedar Hill Golf Course, 1400 Derby Road Victoria Friday February 6, 2004 - from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Cremation entrusted to Hatley Memorial Gardens.
