My deepest sympathies to the family and particularly Sharon, Cathy and Brian. I have such fond memories of chats with Norma over the years. She was such an upbeat and positive person. I will always be grateful to the friendship she nurtured with my mother. She was kind, thoughtful, smart and fun. I have always been thankful for the kindness Norma showed my mother over their long friendship. I am very sorry I was unable to make the memorial. It would have been great to see you all and share stories and memories. Doug Branter

Norma was an amazing person who volunteered countless hours for the Sendial program at Thrifty Foods. She will be missed by many people as she touched so many lives. Norma loved helping people and it showed. We will miss you Norma.

Nana and I ended up sitting next to each other at countless family events over my liftetime. Having a larger age gap between most other family members, I usually couldn't relate to the conversation. My favourite thing in recent years would be Nana leaning over to ask if I knew what anyone was talking about; I would say no, and she would wink at me and say me either. You will be missed Nana, thanks for being such a wonderful presence in our lives.

I met Norma thru Sendial. Aileen Batting got me into Sendial when Pru Cunningham and Alex Campbell ran things. Norma was the Thursday day captain and was a much valued and appreciated volunteer. Lovely lady. RIP Norma.
