Norman Hoffman Obituary
HOFFMAN, Norman Norm passed away October 6, 2018, lovingly remembered by his wife of 66 years, Aileen, children Barb (Don) and Bill; grandchildren Stacey (Jason), David, Robyn and Amanda, great grandchildren Kayden and Colton. He was predeceased by a brother, Warren. Norm was born in Regina, to Charles and Norma (MacMurchy) Hoffman. His education at the U. of Sask. was interrupted by WWII, when he joined the RCAF from 1942-45, graduating in 1948 with a B. Engineering. He married Aileen in 1952; living in Regina until moving to Sidney in 1953. They moved to Ancaster, ON, raising their family; moving to St. Catharines in 1979. At this time, Norm taught engineering at Mohawk College, retiring in 1993, back to Sidney Norm spent many happy hours through the years golfing, sailing and camping with family and friends. There were always cats in the family, the latest, Taffy was a great companion to Norm. The family wishes to thank Dr. Paul Keith and the staff at Saanich Peninsula Hospital for their wonderful care. Celebration of life to be held at St. Paul's United Church in Sidney, on November 24, 2018 at 1:30 pm
