Olivia Logie Obituary

LOGIE, Olivia Kumiko On April 14, 2011 surrounded by her loving family and friends, our dear Liv peacefully passed away in her home. Olivia was born July 24, 1993. At the age of 2 1/2 she was welcomed into the heart and home of Janice Milligan. In this devoted care, Liv's life was enriched with many adventures and fond memories summers spent sailing, camping, soaking in the sun, fall and winters at Brett's hockey & football games, and cuddling with her cat Abby were among a few. Liv enjoyed her school years at Happy Valley Elementary, Dunsmuir & Belmont High. These years were enriched through the tremendous support & love from all the staff and classmates among her. We thank Maureen, Rhonda, Uta and especially Sheila for their devotion to Liv during her last days. Our precious girl, who touched the lives of so many will carry on in our hearts as an angel who has found her wings. Dear Liv, it has been four months since you found your wings! We cheered to you on your 18th birthday on the 24th. We think of you daily and know you are free to run! Parksville has been a peaceful serenity for myself, Shirley and all to visit and remember the wonderful summers we have had there together. That will be "our" special place together. Miss you my Livy girl , Aunty J, Brett and Candice xxxooo

It came as a suprise to hear of Olivia's passing. I remember her fondly all of the times I was priveleged to meet her again and again as I functioned as childcare provider at QA, and later working at some of the schools she attended. I never was fortunate enough to get to know her as well as some very dedicated caregivers in her life, but remember her very fondly, and remember her always to be someone I looked forward to being able to support in whatever role I was in at the time. My sympathies go out to the whole extended "family" and to those individuals who have supported her in other facets of her life as well. I know she will be missed by many.

Janice, we were so saddened to hear of Olivia's passing. I vividly remember the first time I opened my door on Halloween to find you, Brett and Olivia on the other side yelling Trick or Treat! It was many years ago, yet it was truly only the blink of an eye. Our neighbourhood has lost a lovely and sweet member of our community. Thinking of you and Brett, knowing you've got oodles of special memories to cherish. Faye, Mark and Olivia Cawsey

My thoughts have been with all of you during this difficult time. I have so many memories of Olivia, Rob and Tami. They gave me a Christmas ornament of an angel years ago and every time that I place this on the tree I think of all of you. Janice and Brett, Olivia was blessed to have you in her life for so long and I know that you're reply to this would be that you were blessed as well.
Always, Hillary Luis
