P. Anne Reid

REID, P. Anne August 27, 1929 - March 18, 2017 Born in Ocean Falls, BC. It is with sadness that we bid our aunt and sister goodbye. Anne passed away peacefully with a family member by her side, and she will be remembered with fondness as the favorite aunt who did fun things with her nieces, never having children of her own. In an age when women stayed home, she worked as an x-ray technician, and then looked after her own mother until she died. Anne had a big heart, and was loving and caring. Predeceased by her brother George William, mother Phyllis Kate Gibson Reid, and her father George Givens Reid, she is survived by sister Maureen Dawn Reid Gregson, plus numerous nieces and many great-nephews and nieces. Anne grew up in Victoria, but took her Xray training in the States, then got a job down there and worked there many years till her dad passed away. Then she returned to look after her own mother. She was an active member of the Rest Haven Adventist Church and she will be missed. Celebration of life to be decided. Check with the Rest Haven Church, Sidney, BC for the date and time.
