Patricia Louise Levitt (nee Goddard) passed away peacefully at Cumberland Lodge on July 23, 2023. Patricia was born in Vancouver, BC on December 19, 1932.
Patricia was happily married for 49 years to Doug Levitt. Together they enjoyed many wonderful outdoor adventures including freshwater fishing, camping, and travelling to all three Canadian oceans. Patricia had a passion for the natural world, she was an extremely talented fly fisher, always managing to beat the "guys" by catching the biggest fish.
Patricia was a graduate of St. Joseph's School of Nursing and practiced as a respected Registered Nurse for 37 years. Patricia was a dedicated and passionate professional who loved her career.
In her retirement years, Patricia enjoyed her floral gardens and her many hours spent with the Comox Valley Birders. An avid reader and cook, her days were always filled to the brim with activities.
Patricia is survived by her husband Doug Levitt, her brother Jim Goddard, her four children: Kathy Flasha (Randy), Maureen Duncan, Patrick Duncan (Barb) and Colleen Duncan, her two stepdaughters, Rena Upton (Gary) and Pam Coburn (Jamie), her daughter in-law Lucy Levitt and predeceased by her stepson Darren Levitt. Patricia was fortunate to be able to enjoy her 12 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. More than anything else, Patricia was devoted to her family beyond measure, providing valuable guidance to everyone.
