Patricia McGLADE Obituary

Patricia (Pat) McGlade passed away September 16th after a short illness. Auntie Pat was gentle and kind. She was loved deeply by her family and many friends in the community. We will miss her mighty hugs, her "I love you lots", her belly laughs, her quiet nature. We are so proud of you. Special thanks to the ICU and Palliative care teams at Royal Jubilee Hospital. Heartfelt thanks to Dr Janicki, Dr Roth, and the ACT team for their endless support and care. Spread kindness, hug more, judge less.

To the relatives of Pat McGlade:

I was so sorry to see the notice of Pat's passing on Saturday, Sept. 19. Pat and I knew each other at Cloverdale Elementary (1961-1968) and also at Reynolds Secondary. We were both shy kids, which is, I think, one reason we got on with each other. She had THE most beautiful eyes! Long, thick eyelashes - I was very envious of her. And her mum - I loved her mum! She always had a sunny, positive disposition, and she was kind, too. I'm sorry for your loss - Pat is the second girl I knew from Cloverdale whose notice I've seen in the paper in the last 3 months. You've definitely lost a wonderful woman. I know you'll keep her memory alive in your family. My sincere condolences to you all.
