I join with so many others who knew Paul in offering my deepest sympathy on his passing. Although it is little consolation at this sad time, it should be of some satisfaction to know that in his passing you can celebrate a person who was a good friend to many. I will always remember fondly Paul's love of life, his willingness to lend a helping hand and the great support he offered others.

I haven't seen Paul in a very long time, but my memories of Paul from school days, is of his gentle fun-loving nature. Always a smile on his face. My condolances to his children and family. Rest in Peace Paul.

Paul was a great guy and was an interesting fellow for my Grandfather and Grandmother to befriend. As you know they were very straight and very hard on long hair etc. When they told us to come out and meet our Sidney adopted cousins we definitely did not expect someone like Paul and Phil. It became one of the standing family stories of how the west coast can change perceptions. The Alberta Grandchildren would never been allowed the hair latitude Paul was allowed. Grandpa and Grandma loved him dearly and considered him one of us. We thought of him as another cousin and will miss him.

Our deepest condolences on the loss of Paul. Cliff and I would like to express to you all how many fond memories the Skocdopole family has of Paul and his friendship with us and of course that started with Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Mildred. It has been a number of years since we had seen Paul but we had a good visit the last time we were out to the Island. You are all in our thoughts.

I knew Paul quite well and kept in touch with him up until about 7 years ago.
We had many memorable times together back in the early 80's.
I can remember my grandfather (Charlie) bringing him back to Alberta to work with us and Paul was considered part of the family.
He also took the time to help my grandparents out in any way he could.
Our condolences to all of the family out there.
