Peggie BEALE Obituary

If you're reading this, I have passed on to a better place. I was born March 12th,1953 and passed away January 28th, 2026 in Victoria, BC. I was predeceased by my Mom and Dad, Gladys and Gordie Beale. My dad was known for his love of Harleys, and he passed that love on to me. I leave my son, Brent, my younger sister, Nancy (Sam), and my nieces Kara (Ashton) and Kelsi (Dustin). I also regretfully leave my friends: Boone, George, Pat, Jo Ann & family, Kevin, Ilonka, Mel & Bob, many more garage salers and crafters, and Bean, the dog, the Bean of my heart.

After graduating from Mt. View High School and hairdressing school in Victoria, I lived many lives - a hairdresser, a bed & breakfast owner (Kel's), a house cleaner, and an auto detailer, but I lived my best life on my Harley. I got my motorcycle license at 50 years old. I wonder why I waited so long. Then my next love - my Mustang - at the age of 70!

Many thanks to Dr. Chris Blashko, who gave me many more years than I expected. Thank you to Dr. A. Walton, Dr. Li, Dr. Yang, Dr. Szeto, and the doctors & nurses in Palliative Care at the Royal Jubilee Hospital.

I will be buried at Hatley Memorial Gardens with a graveside pet-friendly service on February 6th at 11am. If you feel so inclined, a donation to the Victoria Cancer Clinic or the Humane Society would be appreciated.

I'm riding with the angels now.

Sad to hear about an old school chum during time at Mt. View High. Great times with her and our "gang" of friends, fond memories of all of us ,great parties and graduating together, me and a few of us gathering at her mom and dad's home for grad pics, which I still have. Bless you, Peg.

Bye Peggy, as a childhood friend and neighbour, who was a few years older than me. I remember you baby sitting me and all the great times in your yard with you and Nancy.

Nancy and family
Sending my condolences to you on Peggie's passing. May the sharing of memories bring you strength and support. I recall many of the Beale/Rolls get togethers on Riverbottom, swims in backyard pool and more. Peggie was a great hair dresser and on more than one occasion I had my head in your parents' kitchen sink. I even hooked up with her in Kelowna to get a good cut. That goes back to when Brent was young and drew a picture for me to take home and put on my fridge. Peggie planned for this time and her journey does not end - but takes a new road. Two wheels, one angel.

So very sorry to hear of another past friend has gone on to a better place. Peggie invited me a few times when we were kiddos both attending Tillicum and Colquitz and Mount View..over to her home to have a swim in her pool. A very few occasions she gave me a ride in her green Mustang, that was much appreciated.

To Nancy : I'm sorry to hear of the passing of your sister. It is hard when you loose your siblings. She was likely a year behind me in school . RIP Peggy

Peggy was my first serious (it lasted one month) at Tillicum school way back in the 60s. She let me down easy when our "end" came to be, but still allowed me to carry her books to Colquitz school later on. Goodby Peg..
