Peter Birkett Obituary
A respected Victoria barrister who spent many years as a Crown Counsel before going into private practice, Peter passed away on December 25, 2022. He is survived by his wife Fran, sons Paul, Ian and James, and grandchildren Elyssa, Justin and Marlowe. Donations may be made to the Cancer Research Society. www.societederecherchesurlecancer.ca

My sincere condolences to Peter's family & close friends. I was saddened to read here of his passing. I knew him from his days as Crown Counsel when I was with VicPD & many trials he presided over. He was a thoughtful man who cared about his work.

Peter´s and my paths crossed for a few years when I joined Clay & Company shortly before he moved on. I am glad to have known him; he was a careful and thorough lawyer. I will remember him fondly.
