PETER CRUSE Obituary
The family announces the passing of Peter Cruse (Kruszelnicki) on September 20, 2022 at the age of 95 years.
Peter was born on September 29, 1926 in the Ukraine and came to Canada with his mother and older brother when he was two years old. Peter grew up in Manitoba and was educated there. He taught school in Manitoba until he decided to move to Victoria in 1964 where he taught in various high schools until his retirement.
Peter was pre-deceased by his first wife, Rose-Marie, his second wife, Gerry in 2002, his parents, and two brothers, Walter and Harry. Peter is survived by his sister, Lillian, his sister-in-law, Irene, one niece Linda, and three nephews, Doug, Allan and Ronald.
At Peter's request, there will be no funeral. There will be an internment of Peter's ashes on Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 10:30am at Hatley Memorial Gardens, 2050 Sooke Road, Victoria, BC in the Sermon on the Mount Plot 103-B1 alongside his wife, Gerry.

'Mr. Kruzelnicki' was my Gr. 11 Social Studies teacher. I remember him with fondness. I remember his comments on 'the Kootenays' and 'rutabagas'. He was quirky and we had fun in his class. RIP You were a good man!!
