Peter Yet Chee Yee

YEE, Peter Yet Chee On Monday, June 8, 2015, Peter Yet Chee Yee passed away peacefully at the age of 86. He was a dearly beloved husband, father, grandfather, uncle, and brother. Peter was born in China but moved to Victoria in 1950 where he married Lynn in 1957. Peter worked tirelessly raising 3 children and at the same time operating a large grocery store and small corner store for over 30 years. In his retirement, Peter immensely enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren and socializing in the company of his friends. Peter is survived by son Lawrence (Lena); daughters Teresa (Roy), Joanne (Jason); grandchildren, Christina, Christopher, Amanda and Rachel. He will be missed by all who knew him. The family wishes to thank the staff at Royal Jubilee Hospital and Glenwarren Lodge for their care and thoughtfulness. A private memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2015 in McCall's Floral Chapel, Johnson and Vancouver Streets at 1:00pm.
