Raymond Campbell Obituary

Born May 23, 1950 in Vancouver B.C., Mark passed away suddenly in Thailand on March 2, 2014. Mark loved the outdoors, spending many happy years in his youth with his father hunting and shooting. He lived for golf, boating and having beer and bbq's with all his buddies in Whitehorse, Thailand and with his family at home. Mark worked for the past 15 years in the Yukon and wintered in Thailand and Mill Bay. We are devastated at his loss, and he will be remembered for his cheerful personality and huge grin.

Mark is predeceased by his father (Raymond) in 2002 and his mother (Ivy) in 2003. He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law Marilou and Willie Dodd and family in Vancouver. At Mark's request there will be no service. He will be cremated and the ashes will join his mother and father.

Marilou, so sorry to hear of Mark's passing. I'll never forget him always arriving at our back door on Hamley St just as Mom's freshly baked bread was coming out of the oven! He will be sadly missed.

We were very saddened to hear of Mark's death. I had just had a conversation with him - in Pattaya Thailand just three days earlier. We will miss getting together with him both in Pattaya and in Whitehorse. Kathy and Glenn Ford

I am very saddened to hear of Mark's passing. I remember him as a happy go lucky guy and a friend to all (a bright light). We had a lot of fun growing up on Hamley St.

I've often wondered what he was up to. It sounds as though he had an enriched life.

I'm sure you have many good memories Marilou. Take care!

Sad to learn of Mark's passing ...it seems like only yesterday when we were all young during our earlier days at Central and Victoria High school ..

Mark was always a true champion and rallied to the cause of others.

May it have been a friend or a stranger ......you could always count on Mark's alligence to carry through with his wisdom and support .

He shall be sadly missed by one and all .

Respectfully ,
Jim
