Richard Dickeson Obituary

DICKESON, Richard Charles Unexpectedly while on vacation, Dick Dickeson passed away in Dubai on November 29, 2017. He is pre-deceased by his sister (June) and by his son (Mark). He will be sadly missed by his wife of 62 years, Shirley; by daughters Kelly & Tammy (Chris); grandsons Jeffery & Zachary (Katie) and granddaughter Zoe (Dan). Born in Youngstown, Alberta in 1930, he finally settled in Tamworth, Ontario. Dick served as an aircraft mechanic and radar technician in the air force for 12 years. He was active in the Tamworth Royal Canadian Legion. He was a member of the OSSTF and taught automotive shop at NDSS and ESS until retirement. He spent many happy years crafting beautiful woodwork and always found an excuse to drive. Service & Celebration of his Life will be held with date and location to be announced.
