So sad to read of Dick Dobell's passing, but also glad to know that he lived such a long and fulfilling life. I remember he and Pam as being kind and caring people and good neighbours. My thoughts are with you Peter and James and your families. Theresa Grace.

I was saddened to read the obituary notice for Dick Dobell today. Dick and Pam were good friends of my parents, Charles and Sheila Greene, and since both Dick and my father were avid boaters I fondly recall many happy days at Center Bay or some other cove on one of the islands. As I recall, my dad's boat Kerry Dancer would set sail a few hours before Dick and Pam's (Nayiri?) and we would arrive somewhere just in time for a martini or two. Great memories...
I also spent a lot of my youth with Peter hanging out at his house, and remember Dick (and Pam) as traditional Brits, with their dry wit and quick smile. Always a gentleman, I am sure Dick is sadly missed by his family. My sincerest condolences...
