At this time of year, when losses are felt even more keenly, Brian & I want you to know how much Rita’s angel means to us. Every year we will remember her fondly as her angel watches over us. What a thoughtful gift from such an amazing person. She really was an angel, in her way.

I'd like to pass on our heart felt condolences to you in this hard time. You and Rita have been such a huge part of our lives and family for so long, she will be deeply missed.
You've both helped and watched as our family grew with lilly and bela and now with william it sadnesses us deeply and that weren't there to support you on what must have been the hardest day of your life.
We are all thinking of you and praying for both you and Rita. She truly was an amazing woman who did so much to help those around her. The support and love the both of you have offered us of the years is something we true appreciate and we wouldn't be the people we are today without that.

Dear John and family: Tom and I are so saddened to hear of Rita's passing. I will always carry so much laughter in my memories of our time together at Camosun. Work was never work when we could find something to laugh about and with Rita, there was always joy. Blessings at this time.

I am so very sorry to hear about the passing of Rita. She was wickedly funny, kind, and compassionate. She was a den mother to all of us who had the pleasure and good fortune to work with her at the Camosun bookstore. For me, Rita was a pillar of strength and a wise sage. I'll never forget her words of wisdom to me during some of my darkest days. I have passed her words along to others, to also help them. I will be eternally grateful for having known her. My heartfelt condolences to her family for their loss.
