Bob and I worked in the electrical department on HMCS Margaree or Yukon. It has been many years and memories dim with time. He was a good shipmate and, like him, I also worked in dockyard electrical shops. My condolences to the family. My time will soon be here as I am now 88! Another shipmate has crossed over the bar. Bob was a great shipmate of which I have fond memories. He was caring and had a kind word to all whom crossed his path. He has crossed the gangway one last time to Rest in Peace. He will be missed.

So sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I have fond memories of life on James Island, when Bob used to babysit my younger brother and me and when he took us all on hay rides. My husband has great memories of sailing with Bob. Our prayers are with you, God Bless. John and Gail Ellerton (Roper)
