Robert BULLEN Obituary

It is with love and sadness that we announce the passing of Bobby on September 12, 2025, who died peacefully with family by his side. Bobby will be remembered for his generosity, easygoing nature, and great sense of humor. His unforgettable laugh, playful shenanigans, and the memories shared with him will never be forgotten. More than anything, he was about family, and his happiest times were those spent together.

Bobby was born in Victoria and raised in Sooke and the Western Communities. He began working in the sawmills as a young teenager, first in Sooke, then Cowichan Bay, and finally in Nanaimo, where he retired from Western Forest Products.

He was predeceased by his brother Glenn (Sac), his mother Rose, his father Bob, his sister Valerie, his stepfather Tom, and his stepmother Jan.

Bobby is survived by his sister Lynn (Ron) and brother John (Jen); his best friend and former partner Marilyn (Kelly); his son Tyler; stepchildren Michael (Reba) and Carrie-Ann; stepbrother Derin (Leigh Anne) and stepsister Cathy (Rory); five much-loved grandchildren: Alliya (Jesse), Andreas, Tanaya, Kyprius, and Darius; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends who held a special place in his life.

We love you, Bobby. See you on the first.

Breathe easy with healed ribs Bobby. I miss you so much and want to pick up the phone and hear you laugh once again. Thank you for 35 years as my step dad, there never was a dull moment. Forever missed but always in my heart, see you on the first, but not before I lock you in one last time.

We may not have shared the same work habits but we did work well together.
