Robert Louis French

FRENCH, Robert Louis (Bob) January 20, 1936 - July 3, 2021 Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 3, 2021, Victoria, BC after battling and succumbing to cancer of the kidneys. Bob grew up in Sooke area and lived a full amazing life. Bob is survived and will be sadly missed by his loving wife Marilyn of 62 years, daughter Kathy, grandchildren Alison, Thomas and Christopher, great-grandkids Gwendolyn, Penelope, Sophia and Maverick; sisters Shirley and Sue, nephew Ian and other nephews and nieces. He was predeceased by his brother George and son Cameron. He will be remembered by neighbours and friends, (Barrie and Domali). He was a builder by trade and was involved in building Pilgrim United Church and several additions and renovations of other buildings. Bob volunteered at Camp Pringle and the church. Bob will be forever missed and will be in our hearts forever. We love you. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Esquimalt United Church. In lieu of flowers please donate to Camp Pringle or Gorge View Society.
